English Muffin Bread

A quick and easy bread loaf! It's a perfect loaf for a perfect meal - The Breakfast. :)  Toasted, it's so delicious!!! J'adore mon petit dejeuner! My breakfast is so precious, it's my favorite meal of the day. When I wake up, it's a real pleasure to take a cup of coffee. Take coffee or tea with 3 or 5 muffin bread toasted with apricot jam to a great start! You can spread jam or butter, whatever you want. I prefer particularly jam.    Recipe adapted from Cook'sCountry Best recipes Dec.2013 Make... [Lire la suite]

Daring Bakers' February 2013 Challenge - Crispy Flatbread -

Our February Daring Baker's host was Sarah from All Our Fingers in the Pie. She challenged us to make crisp crackers and flatbreads. I chose to make flatbreads. I had never made any Flatbread before this challenge! I was so surprised how  easy to prepare it was. I flavored them with italian herbs and sea salt. It's really crispy and so good. When I served my flatbread for the diner, my son had a good idea : "we can serve them with a bowl of olive oil and italian herbs". So we soaked the flatbread in olive oil. Wouah, it was... [Lire la suite]

I said "oh no it's too long! It's the first and the last time that I made Croissants." My son of 14 years old told me : " mom, your croissants are delicious! Could you make croissants another time!" I said "yes". So I am sure finally to do again this recipe, because we love Croissants!!!!!!!  We just need patience for this lovely... [Lire la suite]

Breakfast is for me the most delightful meal in the day. Those fluffy pancakes are wonderful for a breakfast!!! With a cup of coffee, it's so yummy!! These pancakes remind me the hotel breakfasts, when I travelled a lot visiting United States. I remembered when I stood by the buffet trying to find the best for me : pancakes, muffins or croissants, yogurt, fruits, muesli....bacon, eggs..... I love hotel breakfasts.    Since I found this great recipe in a cooking magazine, I made pancakes... [Lire la suite]

White Bread

Snow storm in East Coast ! It's time to make a bread ! Simply a great tasting and easy to make a white bread. Here's is your chance to make a bread like a master, with no robot. I had a lot of fun with my kids to make my first bread. Be sure to have yeast and flour to make a bread, and electricity ; because the third day I wanted to make a another bread, but during the cooking in the oven the power went out  (snow storm's consequences), my bread is not cooking anymore, I was so furious! Anyway, my first bread was a... [Lire la suite]
