This is the dessert that I love to make with my husband. Because he always makes the caramel by himself at the perfection. I've made this mousse lots of time. Chocolate Mousse

I enjoyed making this dessert with my daughter :) There are a lot of reasons to make this : you love chocolate, you have no time, you have a big family. This is also a good one to do with the kids. This Chocolate Mousse is easy to prepare, you can make it in advance. It's a great dessert, silky and smooth.  Do not serve more than 3  tablespoons by person! Don't let the kids eat too much!  A Taste of Charleston South Carolina Restaurant recipes inspired me for this recipe. This great cookbook... [Lire la suite]

Daring Bakers' July 2014 Challenge : Surprise Cake!

I just came back from South Carolina where I spent a few days. It was a pleasure to eat in the restaurants with an oceanfront dining. I have a good address in Garden City : Conch Cafe... Enjoy just an appetizer or a seafood entree and the view of the Atlantic Ocean. Maybe you will have the chance to see fireworks when dining. I am so glad to come back at home and present you the Daring Bakers' new challenge. This month, Ruth from The Crafts of Mommyhood challenged us to make an exciting challenge. She... [Lire la suite]

Homemade Applesauce

Why I never made homemade applesauce? I do not know! Yesterday I made Apple Compote. It smelt so good in my kitchen! It's just delicious, just sweet with the little bits of apple! It's a good way to eat apples! I used a mix of Honey Crisp and Pink Lady. Apple sauce is a good dessert, and perfect for a breakfast too. It is easy to make and not expensive! I love easy recipes when I have no time to cook! Of course, I have to make this recipe again. It's now ma recette favorite de compote de pommes... [Lire la suite]

Daring Bakers'June 2013 Challenge - Life of Pie

Rachel from Pizzarossa was our June 2013 Daring Bakers' challenge host. She challenged us to make a pie, a sweet pie! We had to choose between a Crack pie, a Chocolate and Caramel Tart, a Croastata di marmellata, or a Double crust apple pie. Obviously, I chose Father's day to make my challenge. Chocolate and Caramel Tart was the perfect choice!!! My kids love chocolate and their father loves to make caramel. On June 16th, my whole family was in the kitchen to help me. I love the Daring Bakers' challenge, because it's the only ... [Lire la suite]
